Selecting this button will produce a printable list of instruments, music and/or other assets owned by the Music Department. It lists assets in categories and displays description, purchase date, and purchase price. It also displays the purchase price Total, allowing you to calculate the total value of your department's assets.
The computer will automatically work through a number of steps:
First it will enter FIND mode where you can specify your criteria. You will notice that the Category field already has 'Instruments' selected. If you want a list of ALL your instruments, simply select Continue at the top right of the screen. (If you want to include music and other equipment in this listing, delete the word 'Instruments' and then select Continue.)
It will then SORT the records by Category (i.e. Instruments, Music, Other), Sub-category (eg. clarinet, violin, etc.) and Description.
It will then go to the 'Asset Register' layout and show the records in 'Preview' mode.
If you are happy with the result of your search, select the Print icon at the top of the screen.
Select Continue at the top right of the screen and you will return to where you started.
