An information button next to the Status on the enrolment record gives a brief description of what each status means.
Use that button for a quick explanation when in Music Monitor, but this article gives a more detailed run-down of each of them.
Tuition Record Status
ENQUIRY
Displays when: the Enrolment Date is empty.
Means in practice: the “Enquiry” box is ticked.
- Ticking this box clears the Enrolment Date field and displays instead the Creation Date for the enrolment record, labelled as “Enquiry Date”.
The impact is: this record will not be picked up in billing, nor added to rolls.

PENDING
Displays when: the Teacher or Lesson Type is empty.
Means in practice: the enrolment is not complete.
The impact is: this record will be visible to the teacher if one is allocated. It will only be picked up in billing if you choose that option when sending records to Accounts. It will not be added to rolls.

ASSIGNED
Displays when: the enrolment has a Teacher and a Lesson Type but the Enrolment Date or Start Date is in the future.
Means in practice: the enrolment is complete but not yet current.
The impact is: this record will be visible to the teacher. It will be picked up in billing unless you exclude this status when sending records to Accounts. It will not be added to rolls until the week in which the Start Date falls.
CURRENT
Displays when: the enrolment has all the above fields entered, the Start Date is today or earlier, and it does not have a Termination Date earlier than today.
Means in practice: the enrolment is current.
The impact is: this record will be visible to the teacher. It will be picked up in billing, and will be added to rolls.
ARCHIVED
Displays when: the record has a Termination Date that is earlier than today.
Means in practice: the enrolment has come to an end.
The impact is: this record will not be visible to the teacher, will not be picked up in billing, and will not be added to rolls.
SUSPENDED
Displays when: the "Suspended" box is ticked.
Means in practice: the enrolment is on hold (e.g. a long, known absence).
The impact is: this record will be visible to the teacher. It will not be picked up in billing, and will not be added to rolls.
BLOCKED
Displays when: the "Blocked" box is ticked.
Means in practice: the student is prohibited from enrolling (e.g. unpaid fees).
The impact is: this record will not be visible to the teacher, will not be picked up in billing, and will not be added to rolls. The student cannot be enrolled into any lessons until this box is unticked.
EXTERNAL
Displays when: the Teacher allocated has the surname “External” and Staff Code “EXT”.
Means in practice: the student has a lesson at another institution.
