FileMaker Go is available from the Apple App Store free of cost. It can be used to connect to FileMaker Server and open Music Monitor on an iPhone or iPad.
For users to connect, details for the school’s FileMaker server (or ‘Host’) must be entered following the same procedure as for FileMaker Pro.
Connecting to Music Monitor using FileMaker Go
- Download FileMaker Go from the app store.
- Open FileMaker Go (and close the info/tour window).
- Touch the Hosts button at bottom right of screen.
- At top left of screen, click the + button to add a new host.
- Enter the Host's Internet Address. (You will need to get this address from your IT department. It might be something like musicmonitor.yourschool.vic.edu.au or perhaps a series of numbers and dots.)
- Enter a Host Name. (This is optional and can be anything. You might want to enter ‘Music Monitor’ or your school name.)
- Click Done.
You should now be able to see the Music Monitor logo in the right pane. Touch to open and enter your user name and password.
